Looks like she's also compulsively obsessed with the letter "R". I count three (well about two and a half) on her costume. She's even making the shape of a reflected "R".

The R might be some sort of pirate rating system, as in "Avast! Waterworld - what a scury movie. I give it 1 and 1/2 Rs. Or maybe it's a content rating. This hero is rated RRR for extreme valve violence. Which ironically can be a turn on.
