Super Duper Observations and Comments:
fantastic!!! Her hair is awesome.
Now this makes even less sense than usual: why would an onryo have a job delivering babies?
Also, I would have thought her other occupations would have included performing spooky vasectomies.
"She is the Faeries' midwife, and she comes in shape no bigger than an agate-stone, on the forefinger of an alderman..."
— Mercutio, Romeo and Juliet I.iv
L: She's just trying to make ends meet,
ac-cord-ingly.
I love how the scissors mirror her body. Genius, that.
Sutter, this is def. one of my all time FAVORITES! The drawing is SO you! LOVE the scissor shaped hair and pretty much everything else about this lassie!
Love the character, but the name is a bit lacking.
Maybe, "MidWife Crisis" would've been better?
Anyway, the art was amazing.
Wow, "onryo" is right. (Had to look it up -- thanks for the link, L)
Sutter, that is all kinds of excellent.
Brilliant, this is my favourite of yours so far!
@ATM: You're so right about the name, because then it would have been: "Mid-Wife Crisis / snips cords of all shapes and sizes" which rhymes quite nicely.
It is, however, a fantastic illustration, as usual.
