Wind Breaker

Wind Breaker

Can withstand any gale.

I know what you're all thinking. Grow up!

Wind Breaker held the coveted title of Current Champ from Wednesday, April 09, 2008 to Thursday, April 10, 2008, heartily vanquishing Stiff Breeze to earn it. Unfortunately, brutal defeat came soon after, at the merciless hands of The Human Hole.

This hero's magnaminous likeness was captured at the moment of glorious triumph by Kevin .

Quotes overheard while standing in the crowd that gathered to watch the carnage…

  1. Those candles...so perfectly positioned.

And no, I won't grow up.

  2. Is it wise for "Wind Breaker" to be squatting so close to those candles?

Who wants to grow up anyway?

  3. Foop!

pure genius. I'm going to make an effort to use the word foop at least five times today as it's my new favorite word.

  4. I think I like his "ballet unitard with 70s flared collar" fashion choice the best.

Also that his face looks like Edgar Allen Poe.

  5. What a great rendering! The shading and pose are awesome.

As is the not-so-underlying fart joke.

Haha, I'm curious as to the reason for there being TWO candles.

  7. It's always great when other cube dwellers hear you laughing at your monitor. This gave me that opportunity.

Nice stirrups. Nice collar. Nice 'stache.
And why are there two candles?

    adam | [ a ]
  8. Well, why NOT have two candles?

This is the same kind of logic that leads to shirts that say "Bacon".

  9. Lovely, Just perfect. FOOP...
You can just image the flourish of his cape!

Now if only I also had such a suit! It would be great fun in combination with a pair of inline skates!

  14. You know what I just realized? This game, since it's typically played with two players seems to have a sort of dynamic where each player has their own "team" of super heroes (Hence the name "My Team, Your Team") What I find weird however is, because of guest artists, at points, Kevin and Sutter SWITCH Teams, until another guest artist is featured.

Love the game, keep up the great work.

    Nalden | [ a ]
  15. Actually, I regard them guest heroes as being freelancers, outside of either team.

    Mountain Gnome | [ a ]
  18. How did he defeat Stiff Breeze?
...Oh because he "breaks" wind? ...So he "broke" Stiff Breeze?

    I didn't do it | [ a ]
  19. This is too killer. FOOP! Love how he saves the flames. The shading in his tighties is awesome.
